We’ve been writing about how our juice bar is affected during summer, and why people stop by here instead of visiting traditional ice cream shops. But now it’s the end of September, and fall is on its way. School has been back in session for about 6-weeks, and the idea of summer treats now gives way to fall flavors.
While we keep all of these on our juice bar menu throughout the year, there are some drinks that really make sense around fall. Let’s take a look at something you might want to try next time you stop into our smoothie bar.
Pumpkin has truly become the go-to flavor for fall, and now it seems that there’s a pumpkin flavor of just about everything. Sure, it works well in pies, coffee, and smoothies, but do we really need Pumpkin Pringles and Pumpkin Pie Pop Tarts? Our Spicy Pumpkin sticks around all year, but now that it’s fall it truly becomes a popular flavor. With a base of fat-free milk and chai tea, our pumpkin drinks also have vanilla frozen yogurt and, or course, our special pumpkin mix.
Bring On The Pumpkin Seeds!
What, more pumpkin? That’s right, and now it’s in the form of pumpkin seeds. Pumpkin seeds have heart-healthy magnesium, zinc, and Omega-3 fats. You’ll find pumpkin seeds in our Battle Beauty Bowel and Cranberry Pitaya Bowl.
Apples, Apples, Apples!
Another popular fruit this time of year is the apple. After all, this is the prime time for apple harvests in the parts of the country that experience four distinct seasons. In our veggie blends we have the Apple Zinger, Vitalizer, Garden Greens, Carrot-Apple, and Lean N Green. Even though these have a lot of non-sweet veggies in them, apples add the perfect sweetness that makes them extra-tasty.
